What is a Hydrobath?
Simply put our Hydrobath is a custom manufactured bathing unit, that uses a specifically designed recirculating pump and heating element that creates a warmed, pressurised, continuous mix of water and shampoo solution which allows full penetration into your pooches coat.
The difference between a Hydrobath and regular bathing
A regular bath only delivers water from a shower head, meaning that any products have to be rubbed in by hand and then rinsed off. This can not only take a lot of time as it can be difficult to get to the base of the dogs coat but is often rinsed off before its given the opportunity to really penetrate down to the skin where it is most often needed most.
However by using our hydrobath, the pump supplies a constant flow of water mixed with either our handpicked products or if you’d prefer to bring your own , this means maximum coverage of the whole coat allowing the products to work effectively in a timely eco friendly manner.
What are the benefits of Hydrobathing?
• Deep cleansing – The high pressure water stream penetrates deep into your dogs coat removing dirt, dust and other debris that may be trapped there, this helps prevent skin infections and irritations
• Removes Odours- it is an extremely effective way to remove unpleasant smells from your dogs coat and skin as it lifts and removes any dirt, oil and debris that may not be as effectively removed by a regular bath
• Massaging effect- our hydrobath has a wonderful massaging effect that helps encourage good blood circulation and stimulates the production of natural oils in your dogs skin. This helps to keep the skin healthy and moisturised and his coat shiny and healthy. The therapeutic massage can be calming and soothing especially for those suffering with arthritis or muscles problems
• Prevents Matting & shedding- the hydrobath can help with matting as the high pressure water loosens tangles and matts making them easier to removed during the brushing and grooming process not only this, it opens the pores of your dogs skin releasing the dead hair more than any other form of washing will do, this helps significantly with shedding
• Relieves skin problems- hydrobathing can help relieve skin problems such as allergies, hot spots and itching by removal of dead skin cells through the high pressure water and product solutions, this helps promote blood circulation, which can soothe irritated skin and speed up the healing process
• Saves time-Hydrobathing is a fast and efficient way to bath your dog, it takes less time than traditional methods and is less messy than doing it home, the process is less stressful for your dog as they don’t have to be submerged or subjugated to long scrubbing and rinsing times great for the dogs that don’t particularly like the process or the older clientle.
Summarised
Overall, hydrobathing is a safe, effective and efficient way to keep your dogs skin and coat healthy and clean. The sensation of the water hitting their skin and fur can be refreshing and invigorating while the massage effect is soothing and relaxing. Particularly beneficial for older dogs, dogs that don’t like the whole bath thing, dogs with skin problems, allergies or hair that is prone to matting as well as those that just love a pamper
As well as being great for dogs, it is also better for the environment as it uses less water…win win!
